These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the MS-365 Expat website and any remote support services booked through this website.

By using this website, booking a consultation, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book a service.

1. About MS-365 Expat

MS-365 Expat (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides remote Microsoft 365 and computer setup support for small businesses, remote operators, and expat-run businesses.

Our services may include Microsoft 365 setup, business email migration, OneDrive and Teams configuration, Outlook setup, Windows computer setup, and related remote troubleshooting.

At this stage, services are remote-only. We do not provide onsite support, physical repairs, hardware replacement, or emergency managed IT services.

2. Use of the Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the website, its security, or other users.

You must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or misleading activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Copy, scrape, or misuse website content without permission
  • Disrupt or interfere with website functionality or security
  • Submit false, harmful, or misleading information through any form or booking page

3. Booking and Remote Support

Bookings may be made through the website or an integrated calendar booking system.

A booking does not guarantee that every issue can be fixed remotely. Remote support depends on the condition of the computer, internet access, account access, passwords, administrator permissions, and the availability of required third-party systems.

For remote computer setup, the device must generally be working, connected to the internet, and able to run a remote support session. Some work may require the client to follow instructions locally.

We may decline or stop work if the issue is outside the agreed scope, requires onsite service, involves hardware failure, requires unavailable access, or creates unacceptable security or legal risk.

4. Service Scope

The scope of each service will be based on the selected service, booking details, written communication, or any separate agreement.

Website descriptions are general summaries only. They do not guarantee that every listed task is included in every booking.

Service scope, timelines, fees, deliverables, and exclusions may vary depending on your setup and the information you provide.

5. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information, working internet access, required login details, administrator access, and any necessary permissions to carry out the work.

You must confirm that you are authorised to request support for the business, account, domain, device, or system involved.

You are also responsible for maintaining backups of important files and data before any setup, migration, configuration, or troubleshooting work begins. Yes, backups. The boring thing everyone ignores until the universe files a complaint.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome

We will use reasonable care and skill when providing remote support, but we do not guarantee that every issue can be resolved.

Some problems may be caused by third-party providers, missing access, licensing restrictions, unsupported systems, hardware faults, internet issues, corrupted profiles, security policies, or service outages outside our control.

You are paying for professional time, setup work, troubleshooting, and guidance, not a guaranteed result in every case.

7. Third-Party Services

Our services may involve third-party platforms such as Microsoft 365, domain registrars, email hosts, DNS providers, remote support tools, calendar booking systems, and payment providers.

We are not responsible for outages, errors, pricing changes, account restrictions, data loss, or policy changes caused by third-party services.

You remain responsible for your own subscriptions, licences, accounts, renewal fees, and compliance with third-party terms.

8. Data, Access, and Security

Remote support may require temporary access to your computer, Microsoft 365 tenant, email account, domain settings, or related systems.

You should not share passwords through insecure channels unless specifically instructed. Where possible, access should be granted using secure methods, temporary passwords, delegated access, or screen-sharing controlled by you.

We will take reasonable steps to protect information accessed during support, but you remain responsible for your own business data, account security, internal permissions, and backups.

9. Fees and Payment

Fees, payment terms, and included work will be confirmed before or during booking, quotation, invoice, or written communication.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment may be required before or at the time of service.

Additional work outside the original scope may require a separate quote, additional booking, or further approval.

10. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please do so as early as possible through the booking system or by contacting us.

We may reschedule or cancel a booking if required due to availability, access issues, technical limitations, payment issues, or inappropriate use of the service.

Missed appointments, late attendance, or failure to provide required access may reduce the available support time.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, layout, branding, graphics, and service descriptions, belongs to MS-365 Expat or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or reuse website content without written permission, except where allowed by law.

12. Website Information

We aim to keep website content accurate and current, but the information is general only and may change without notice.

Website content does not constitute legal, financial, cybersecurity, compliance, or regulatory advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MS-365 Expat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of data, revenue, business interruption, missed email, lost productivity, or loss caused by third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Privacy

Use of this website and services may involve the collection of personal or business information. How information is collected, used, and handled should be set out in the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
